County Arts Alliance seeks new exhibits

The nonprofit organization working to keep arts and culture central to life in Clackamas County announced that its exhibitor application deadline is at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5.

Clackamas County Arts Alliance is accepting applications from individual artists and artist groups for its 2015 Artist Exhibit Program. The program features two- and three-dimensional original artwork by Clackamas County artists in 16 gallery spaces at 10 different locations countywide. Artists are chosen through an annual online application process. There is no fee for participating, and artists keep all of their exhibit-related sales.

This opportunity is open to emerging and experienced artists and artistic groups who live or work in Clackamas County. Milwaukie photographer MC Reardon has said that the program gave her “excellent experience” in regularly showing her work.

“The Artist Exhibit Program, including its orientation, is a way for local artists to learn valuable skills necessary for working as a professional artist. We encourage those with little exhibit experience, as well as those who have exhibited extensively, and we display a wide variety of styles and mediums,” said Sue Allen, program coordinator.

Complete details, an online application and the full Call to Artists can be found at clackamasartsalliance.org. The public also may contact Allen at 503-622-3611 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
