HILLSBORO TRIBUNE FILE PHOTO - The Washington County Museum, 120 E Main St., in Hillsboro is hosting a hands-on Ukrainian egg decorating workshop on Saturday, March 19, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Participants will learn the art of batiking from egg artist and cultural educator Daniela Mahoney. Batiking on eggs is the oldest and one of the most popular techniques used for egg decorating in different parts of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The cost for the event is $20 per person, with a 10 percent discount for museum members. Registrater on the museums website: washingtoncountymuseum.org.
